Dear BP
I am writing to thank you from my heart how grateful I and my wife and daughter are that BP has given me the opportunity of a part-time job constituting 24 hours in three shifts per week at the Petrol Station cum Marks and Spencer Convenience food store with the associated Wild Bean Cafe provisions that I have had so much caring support from the Duty Managers Kai, Chiran, Chris, Vicky, Ramesh, Mandeep, Kim, Aartati, Suja, Shane, and Sharmila (one or two others that I do not know the names of yet) to start getting to grips with what is required of me in order to ensure the highest level of Customer satisfaction and the maintenance of the shop floor with deliveries of goods in the mornings and throughout the shifts that I work. The staff have been most gracious and helpful towards me and it has made my learning process all the more enjoyable. I have always loved Customer Service, and hopefully I will be able to sail through the probationary 12 week assessment in due course
It has been some years since I last worked in Petrol Stations but the Tills are more or less the same although the Loyalty Scheme has to be accommodated and I am aware that we have to do all we can to ensure the maximum level of Customer revisits to the Store. I have done the Online Training.
This is just to let you know that I am perfectly happy with this employment opportunity that you have given me and wish to work for BP until I am no longer fit enough for employment given my 65 years of age.
Many thanks again for having faith in me so that in my semi-retirement I can contribute productively to the economy of the United Kingdom towards which I feel loyalty for the 49 years of life as an Immigrant person of Indian extraction,
With my best wishes to all in the Store and Management above the Store level of BP's operations.
Yours sincerely
