Dear 38 Degrees
Do you have no shame asking for more money as donation for what you have done to me for the clear evidence based interpretation is that the Prime Minister is hiding under the fact that we live in a tyrannical Police State that maintains society as a nation of morons and for which the State deserves from well educated people like me to punch the final nail in its coffin by us being disloyal and unpatriotic towards the Queen on her Platinum Jubilee. I tried for 24 years to get the University of Greenwich to pay me my hard-earned redundancy money of £55,000 but the racists are not budging. So I am unable to send 48 Degrees any further donations much as I now think you are a very good cause for good institution doing good things.
I do hope you understand.

Dear Shantanu,
It’s shocking. A plan to tackle the patient backlog in England that was expected today was delayed yet again. [1] This leaves a record breaking 6 million of us on waiting lists unclear about what this will mean for the treatment we desperately need. [2]
Right now the story is quickly unfolding - and everything from the Omicron variant to a row over how achievable the waiting times targets are are being blamed. [3] But most reports suggest disagreements between the Treasury and the Department of Health and Social Care are the root cause. [4] Even if they’re keen to deny it. [5]
What’s for certain, while some politicians continue to squabble behind closed doors, millions of us continue to pay the price of more cancelled appointments and even longer waiting times.
That’s why we need to send a clear message to Chancellor Rishi Sunak and the Health Secretary, Sajid Javid, that enough is enough. If hundreds of thousands of us sign a petition, telling them it’s time they put grandstanding aside and sort out this chronic problem, it could be the thing that forces them to publish the plan.
So Shantanu, will you sign this petition today calling on Sajid Javid and Rishi Sunak to put politics aside and publish the plan to clear the patient backlog without delay? By clicking the button below your name will automatically be added to the petition.
SIGN THE PETITION
Here's what the petition says:
TO: The Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, Sajid Javid, & The Chancellor, Rishi Sunak
PETITION TEXT:
Publish the plan to clear the patient backlog in England
Thanks for everything you do,
Michael, Simma, Jonathan, Myles and the 38 Degrees Team

38 Degrees wouldn’t exist without you, Shantanu.
38 Degrees has no big donors - we’re funded by ordinary people who care, like you. Regular donations mean that we can plan future campaigns, pay our workers a decent wage, and keep fighting for what we all believe in.
If you don't already do so, will you consider setting up a regular donation of a fiver, tenner or whatever you can spare? Click here to donate securely:
